This was the final (and most ambitious) linocut block print, made for my daughter’s nursery. The latin phrase at the bottom “Aut viam inveniam aut faciam” means “I shall either find a way, or make one”

The print ties together the nature them of here nursery with a depiction of our household: the two magpies are my wife and I, the foxes are our dogs Po’boy & Biscuit, the snake is our cat Dexter, and you’ll notice a small nest with an egg (James). My wife went into labor on the night of the pink moon in April of 2025.
